- Yes, I know the name is a little nerdy. So am I. Why try to hide it? This blog is to stay in touch with people back in the states while I’m in Melbourne, Australia on a work assignment. Austerity August, also known (by me only) as Augusterity, involves not drinking, not eating desserts and taking the stairs (Augustairity?) for the month of August. Like Lent or Ramadan, but without all the Mythology.
